How do Disinfectant Mats Work?
Disinfectant Mats are rubber mats that can hold a liquid without leaking, and are simply filled with the sanitiser or disinfectant solution of your choice. Mats are laid at entrance points to the building for persons to step on and submerge their footwear into the cleaning solution therefore cleaning their shoes. This stops germs spreading on the floor and walking around the building, and remove the need to constantly clean the floor during the working day. We would recommend the solution is changed everyday for busy entrances, or by the time recommended by the manufacturer, which ever is shortest, and that floors are still cleaned on a regular basis.
